This project set out to create an abstract, colourful set of images to be used for a landscape canvas print. The brief was to contrast a light background, which would compliment the surroundings, with a bold image with an abstract feel, which created a focal point for a room.
The technique used was quite simple. A square glass vase contained the water and prevented any distortion. A combination of translucent and opaque, acrylic-based ink was used in a variety of complimentary colours. The hue of the images were then changed in Photoshop to extent the available colour combinations.
